Teacher Venture Grants

Inspiring Innovation in the Classroom

Our Teacher Venture Grant Program supports creative ideas that enhance learning and inspire students. These grants empower educators to bring new projects, programs, and experiences to life—helping classrooms grow beyond what traditional funding allows.

Who Can Apply

Teachers, administrators, and guidance counselors in the Wyalusing Area School District are eligible to apply. Whether you’re piloting a new teaching strategy or launching an innovative student experience, we want to help you make it happen.

How to Apply

Applications are accepted year-round.  Educators can apply individually or as a team. Proposals should clearly describe:
- The project or program
- Expected outcomes for students
- How the grant enhances learning beyond standard funding

During the 2024–2025 school year, the Wyalusing Area Education Foundation proudly awarded Teacher Venture Grants that brought new energy, creativity, and hands-on learning to classrooms across the district.

From innovative STEM activities and flexible seating options to literacy challenges, art projects, and field trips that extended learning beyond the classroom—these grants continue to make a real difference for Wyalusing students and educators every day.
