Alexis Muench is a WVHS graduate and serves as the Vice President of the Foundation. Alexis is the Chief Financial Officer of Mutual Capital Group, Inc., located in Wyalusing, Pennsylvania. Mutual Capital Group consists of 16 wholly or majority owned subsidiaries that include insurance, analytics, services and investment companies. She graduated from Bloomsburg University with a BSBA in Accounting and a Masters in Accountancy. Alexis encourages lifelong learning and holds a plethora of licenses and designations including a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) license, a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) license and is a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). She is looking forward to helping drive the mission of the foundation in the coming years. She resides in Laceyville with her husband children.
Kelly White is a 1995 WVHS graduate and has been active with the foundation since 2014. She is the director for Lackawanna College's satellite center in Towanda and resides in Wyalusing with her husband Nathan and daughters, Katherine and Sophie. Kelly is involved in many community organizations that include: WASD Region #2 school board director; president of the Bradford County Tourism Promotion Agency board and board member for the Bradford County United Way, board member for the Endless Mountain Heritage Region, the chair for the Northern Tier Workforce Development Board Youth Committee and member of the Northern Tier Workforce Development board. She is also quite busy keeping up with her daughters' various activities.
Brooke Hatton is a 1998 graduate of WVHS and the Executive Director of the foundation. She holds a BS in Mass Media & Broadcasting from Old Dominion University and has many years of fundraising and marketing experience from various careers and volunteer organizations. She is a self-proclaimed retired football mom, having served on many booster club boards. Brooke lives in Wyalusing with her husband Joe, son Dante and pug, Keke.
Warren Howeler is the managing editor for the Rocket-Courier, having started with the newspaper in May 2019. He is married to a 1996 Wyalusing Valley High School graduate, Lisa Robinson. The couple resides in Dushore with their two children, Jonathan and Grace.
Jennifer Newton has been on the Education Foundation board since 2016 and is currently employed as the Taylor Family Office Manager and the Executive Director of the Kenneth & Caroline Taylor Family Foundation in Wyalusing, PA. She is a graduate of Marywood College with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business and holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Marywood University. Jennifer resides in Wyalusing with her husband Ralph and has two daughters, Ashlee and Priscilla and two English cream golden retrievers, Howie Deeks and Milo Mo. Jennifer is the Serious Hits Volleyball Club Director and is also a member of the Wyalusing Rainbow Club. Jennifer enjoys traveling, concerts, volunteering and attending various high school events, community and club activities.
Richard Robinson holds a BS in Elementary and Special Education from Mansfield University, an MS in Education, an MA in Reading Education, an MA in Elementary Education and an MBA in Finance, all of which are from the University of Scranton. He has also been awarded an Honorary Doctorate (LL.D.). He is retired from the Sullivan County School District after 36.5 years of service as a learning support teacher, elementary teacher teaching basic reading in a 4-6 departmentalized instructional arrangement and finally, he served as the Elementary Principal/Supervisor.
Dr. Deana Patson is a 1993 WVHS graduate and she joined the Foundation in May 2024. Deana is currently the Business Computer Information Technology teacher at WVHS. She holds a bachelors degree in Business Education, several masters degrees, and a doctoral degree from Wilkes University in Educational Leadership. Deana is currently the treasurer for the Wyalusing Area Education Association and has served as a club advisor for several Wyalusing High School clubs and a coach for Sullivan County School District. Deana enjoys volunteering, hiking, biking, skiing, crafting, and attending school and community events.
Kelly Wurzler
Tony Belcher Jr. is a 2011 WVHS graduate and joined the board in 2023. He is employed at Bob Johnson
Flagstone Inc. He is also the owner of The Blind Guys Plus LLC. He currently serves on the
Huffman Memorial golf tournament and the Spring Fling committees. He resides in Wyalusing
with his wife Maria and daughter Olivia.
Liz Vanderpool is a 1999 graduate and Science teacher at WVHS. She lives with her husband and three children in Wyalusing. She enjoys coaching volleyball, strength training, outdoor activities and watching all sporting events.
Gabe Sheldon is a 1998 WVHS graduate and started with the foundation in 2014. He and his father, Burnie Sheldon, own and operate the family run business, Sheldon Funeral Homes. Gabe is part of the Huffman Memorial Golf Tournament Committee. He resides in Laceyville with his wife Carly and three children.

Jennifer is a former VP and Secretary of WAEF. Jennifer is currently employed by Tuscarora Wayne Insurance Company and lives in Wyalusing with her 2 children, Emily and Ethan.
One of the original board members of WAEF, Debbie has been the owner of The Travel Shoppe since 1994. Married to her husband Lanny since 1972, Debbie is the proud mother of three daughters and their families, including eight grandchildren. Debbie served on the Wyalusing School Board for 16 years, serving as president for many. In addition to the WASD Board, she also served on the Blast IU 17 board for many years as well as the Northern Tier Career Center board. Debbie feels it was an honor to serve the District and considers it an honor to be still involved.
David Keeler is a local businessman and Newspaper editor.
