2025 Tee Time in:
The Jim Huffman Wyalusing to Washington Golf Classic
Join us as we celebrate the memory of former teacher Jim Huffman. Jim was an advocate of the annual 6th grade trip to Washington and all funds raised will support transportation costs for this annual event.
In 2008, the WAEF established the inaugural golf tournament to raise funds for the annual trip to Washington, D. C., for sixth graders in the Wyalusing Area School District. The trip costs approximately $50,000 and over the past 16 years, the foundations contribution has gone toward the transportation costs, which averages about $25,000.
The tournament is being held at the Towanda Golf Club on July 18, 2025. There is an 8 am Registration and 9 am Shot Gun Start. Lunch is provided at the turn and Steak dinner afterward. LOTS of contests throughout the course with cash payouts!
