In 2008, the WAEF established the inaugural golf tournament to raise funds for the annual trip to Washington, D. C., for sixth graders in the Wyalusing Area School District. The trip costs approximately $50,000 and over the past 16 years, the foundations contribution has gone toward the transportation costs, which averages about $25,000.

The tournament is being held at Tall Pines Players Club July 19, 2025. There is an 8 am Registration and 9 am Shot Gun Start. Lunch is provided at the turn and Steak dinner afterward.  LOTS of contests throughout the course with cash payouts!
